Can I just tell you how much I hate April Fool's Day? Mostly because I never get anybody and they ALL get me. To recap:

- Tobin called this morning and said he couldn't drive me to school because he had mono and I should probably get checked for it too (cough, cough). Then he met me at my locker with a pink carnation. (April Fool's!)

- Since Tobin canceled I took the bus and when I got on Tabitha was crying and she told me she missed her period and would I go with her to Happy Harry's after school to get a pregnancy test? I could literally feel the blood draining out of my face when she started laughing. (April Fool's!) I could've killed her.

- At lunch Allison told me she's thinking of going out for cheerleading next year. By this time I'd already been "fooled" by both Tobin and Tab, so I said, "Ha, ha - April Fool's, right?" She gave me a weird look but I thought it was part of the act so I said, "OK, fine. Maybe I'll go out for cheerleading, too." Then she got all happy and I started thinking that it wasn't an April Fool's joke, so I said, "I was kidding. Aren't you?" Allison blinked a few times. Then she said, "Oh, yeah. Totally. A joke." (April Fool's?)

- Don't even get me started on the prank that Hannah tried to pull.

- Finally, I just got off the phone with Jack maybe half an hour ago and he told me he auditioned for the next American Idol and that he'd made the first cut, so he was dropping out of Berklee today, even though he's got like six weeks left in the semester. I hung up on him before he could say it. (April Fool's!)

I'm taking a nap.
